Puck 'N Hockey

This is my final plea for anyone interested in supporting local hockey and the athletes of Special Olympics Maryland. The 8th annual Old Fat Bald Guys Hockey tournament and silent auction to benefit Special Olympics is being held this weekend at Skate Frederick in Frederick, MD. Here is all the information you will need to attend the event.

• The hockey tournament starts TODAY, July 13th at 7:00pm and concludes Sunday afternoon. Yours truly will be playing for Team Hoegaarden (the white team). [ofbghockey.com]
• The silent auction which includes hockey memorabilia (Caps and Bears signed items), a custom-made corn hole set made from used hockey sticks, golf foursomes, tickets to Washington Capitals games at Verizon Center, and other exciting items. The auction will take place on Saturday, July 14th. It will open for bids at 10:00am and close at 6:00pm. The auction winners will be announced at the pig roast held in the Skate Frederick parking lot after the Saturday evening tournament hockey games. [ofbghockey.com]
