UPDATE: Due to the ice problems at Skate Frederick the last few weeks, the OFBG tournament has been moved to August 27th through the 29th.

Continuing the themes of local hockey promotion and “the season never ends”, I’d like to help promote the 2010 Old Fat Bald Guys hockey tournament in Frederick, MD.

Old Fat Bald Guys Hockey

This year the 2010 OFBG tourney will run July 9th through July 11th and includes a silent auction on Saturday from 10:00am to 7:30pm.  So far, a team signed Caps jersey, an NHLOA autographed linesman’s sweater, and three pairs of Caps tickets have been donated for the auction.  All proceeds of the tournament and silent auction will benefit Special Olympics Maryland.  OFBG is still looking for donations for the auction.  The tournament itself will have 4 teams mostly made up of the 30-and-over talent pool.  Hence, the Old Fat Bald Guys moniker.
