The Caps announced the scheduled dates for the two best ways for fans to get up close and personal with their favorite NHLers this “off” season (the season never really ends).

The Capitals Development Camp will commence on July 12th and conclude on Saturday, July 17th with a 10:00am scrimmage and the Fan Fest (including the always popular equipment sale) at Kettler Capitals Iceplex.

On October 2nd, the second annual Capitals Convention will be held at the Washington Convention Center. This event is great because the entire roster will be present for a day focused on fan interaction.

We’re planning on covering some of the Development Camp and attending this year’s Capitals Convention as we ramp up for the 2010-2011 season.
